As a believer in Jesus, our view of giving should be one of worship not of duty or requirement. The things that we have been given are not ours anyway. A sign of a growing believer in Christ is participation in worship – including worship through giving.

Online Giving

FBC Anson offers secure online giving through Planning Center Giving. If you wish to automatically gift to FBC Anson on a schedule, you may setup recurring giving. Set your preferences to what will work best for you, then create your account. Once your account is set up, you’ll be able to edit your contribution schedule and view your giving history. It takes about two minutes to set up a profile and you can get started by clicking the button below!

What does it mean when it asks to “Cover the Fees”?

Every online payment system that runs a credit/debit card takes a fee. There is no way around this fact but the company we are using, Planning Center Giving, gives the option to the giver, that’s you, to cover the fees for the charge. This means, if you check the box then it will cover the small fee. If not your gift will have the fee taken out of it and be as slightly smaller gift to FBC Anson. Either way, we are appreciative of your giving to the LORD, we just want you to be aware of how our online-giving platform works.

The fee works like this, the debit/credit card is charged 2.15% + .30 per transaction or .25 per ACH/Bank transaction. (We have an existing ACH/Bank option with zero fees. Please contact the church office to set up an ACH if that is your preferred method of giving.)

Example

A $100 donation = $97.55 deposited into the church bank account. Unless you decide to check the box that says cover the fees.

It is important to note that the $100 donation is not what the official gift is to the church, instead the $97.55 is the total gift. When you “cover the fees” you then are giving the complete $100 gift to the church. Please keep this in mind as you plan your budget and gifts.
